When we lifted the boat out of the water to antifoul it during Easter, we discovered a defect on the skeg. I ground out the defect on the skeg. I ground back and ground back and then found a void.  I drilled multiple holes in the skeg and also drilled into the rudder as well to check for moisture.  I syringed epoxy into the void and epoxied probably thirty coats of chopped strand mat to seal and level it all up.
